Welcome to the Meigle Primary School website.

I am the Headteacher of both Meigle and Kettins Primary Schools. I have been in post since October 2019 and was permanently appointed to the position in July 2020. I take pride in the high expectations and aspirations that we have for our learners at Meigle Primary School. We encourage everyone to do their very best and provide opportunities for all to experience success in learning. We are currently revising our school values. I am ably assisted by my Principal Teacher, Mrs Fiona Tasker, together we lead the school community with enthusiasm and optimism.
I hope that you find this website useful and are able to navigate with ease to find information you may require. Please download the school app too for quick access to relevant information. We aim to work closely with our parents and wider community and communication is key.

Staffing Update 18.8.25 - 26.9.25

We are happy to confirm our staffing arrangements for the first 6 weeks of the session:

P1-P4 Miss Alex Shaw 
P5-P7 Mrs Nicole Lawson (M-W) Mrs Natalie Kirby (Th-F)
RCCT Mrs Evelyn Good (W-Th)

Mrs Lawson will be Acting Principal Teacher and will be out of class on a Wednesday for management duties. Mrs Good will teach P5-P7 all day on a Wednesday. 
Mrs Fiona Tasker will be Acting Headteacher. 
Mrs Underwood hopes to visit the school on a regular basis during this 6 week period.

Thursday 26 June- School Packed Lunch

Please follow the link to order a school trip packed lunch for end of term next Thursday. The packed lunches are free for P1-P5 pupils and those in receipt of free school meals.

Mobile Library

A reminder that the Mobile Library will be visiting our school for the final pick-up of all books tomorrow. No new books will be chosen until after the summer holidays.

Information for next week

Could all pupils bring a carrier bag on Monday for taking work home.
On Wednesday 25th June could all pupils come in P.E kit and both classes will be having a movie morning!. The films are P2-4 Fantastic Mr Fox and P5-7 Wonka.
If you do not wish for your child to participate, please contact the school office by 3.15pm Tuesday. Thank you

Hi everyone,
