Welcome to the Meigle Primary School website.

I am the Headteacher of both Meigle and Kettins Primary Schools. I have been in post since October 2019 and was permanently appointed to the position in July 2020. I take pride in the high expectations and aspirations that we have for our learners at Meigle Primary School. We encourage everyone to do their very best and provide opportunities for all to experience success in learning. We are currently revising our school values. I am ably assisted by my Principal Teacher, Mrs Fiona Tasker, together we lead the school community with enthusiasm and optimism.
I hope that you find this website useful and are able to navigate with ease to find information you may require. Please download the school app too for quick access to relevant information. We aim to work closely with our parents and wider community and communication is key.

PE days next week

Please note a slight change of PE days for next week as Susan can no longer come on Tuesday 6th so tennis is on Friday 9th.

PE days for P5-7 will be Tuesday and Friday.
PE days for P1-4 will be Wednesday and Friday.

Tennis lessons

We are lucky enough to be getting 3 more tennis sessions from Susan at Blairgowrie tennis club. These will replace one of our usual PE sessions for those weeks. The tennis dates for both classes are:
Tues 29th April
Tues 6th May
Tues 20th May

For these 3 weeks;
P5-7 PE days will be Tuesday and Friday
P1-4 PE days will be Tuesday and Wednesday.

Rag Bag Collection

The next Rag Bag collection is scheduled for 13/05/2025 between 9 am and 3 pm.

Please feel free to access the back of the school grounds at any point to drop off donations.

Education Scotland Inspection Meeting

Please see the letter attached inviting you to our Education Scotland Inspection Meeting on Tuesday 6 May 2025.

Children will also come home with a paper copy of the letter today.

Crazy Day Sale

The Crazy Day Sale raised a fantastic £369.95 which will go into our School Fund.
Thank you for all donations made and to those who managed to attend.
The children thoroughly enjoyed leading this enterprise event.

Crazy Day Sale reminder

Donations of bric-a-brac, toys, games, books etc can still be handed in to the school office tomorrow.

Home-baking for the sale can be handed in tomorrow and on Thursday morning.

The Crazy Day Sale is on Thursday 3 April 11am- 12noon.
